These stockings are particularly tight. I measured my calves with a measuring tape and they measured 12 inches. I noticed that they had no heel and toe shone on them to make distinct where they are as all the other compression hose do. I also noticed they had a great deal of strength in the compression and I stretched them in both directions. I wondered if I would have difficulty getting them on. But I bravely started and found that the compression felt extremely strong. I have now had all three pair on and worn them all day and didn't think about that strength all day. I found it fun to wear the different designs and got comments and "where did you get them" comments. I will definitely keep them and enjoy them. When will I receive another catalog? Mary
