Permanent fixture in my cupboards

This bread, and all of the similar Mestemacher breads, are just phenomenal. The first time, you think “the slices are so small, I'm never gonna be satisfied!” But this is no fluffy yeast bread. This is dense, chewy, substantial bread. Honestly, my favourite use I have found for it has been crumbling it up into soups in place of meat substitutes. So good!!!
