EarthBox Junior Garden Kit with Standard 7-7-7 Fertilizer - Dark Green

I bought six of these to sit on a garden wall. And they are working perfectly. We planted them in flowers and herbs, and every single plant is thriving. I only have two minor criticisms. One, the fill pipe should not be right next to the overflow. If filling from a fast stream, water splashes out of the overflow before being filled. The regular Earthbox does not have this issue. Two, these need to be provided with good caps for the fill tubes. While the large opening is very convenient for filling, it also allows debris, bugs and even small animals to fall in. We have lots of very small lizards here, and they get into EVERYTHING, but there's no way they could get out of these tubes.

It was a great experience, as I gave a speech about veggie gardening, to the local garden club, and I gave the Earthbox to the club to raffle off. I did tout the Earthboxes as the best way to garden in the gopher infested, and the highly mineralized water we have here. No feedback from the lucky winner yet.
