Flotec 1 hp pump

It's a good pump but I don't like the switch. The switch is not adjustable and it kicks on after only 4 inches of water is in the hole. I'n my cellar this means it kicked on and off 3 times a minute. This would wear out the pump and switch very fast. I ended up replacing the switch with a tethered float switch. now it only has to kick on once a minute and it can run longer than a few seconds when it kicks on now.
