When compared to a Samsung or Apple product, this is not going to win any awards. Just does not have the bells and whistles the expensive name brand tables have.
But its a solid machine, with 1.6GHz Quadcore processor and 2GB internal RAM, your not going to be stuck waiting for apps to load, and menus to open. It will not win any bench mark tests, when comparied to the expensive name brand tables, but it will not embarrass itself either. Comparing the two would be like comparing a Stock Ford Mustand, to a Ferrari. SIde note, it does take this thing forever to boot, it takes about a minute to complete its bootup.
It comes with the standard Android App load, and can connect to the Playstore, though I have found a few apps the report they are not compatible with this device. Flash player is one nad Weatherbug is another, there were one or two more but do not remember off the top of my head. They all require data connections not just WiFi. Speaking of which, I didn't have any problems connecting to my home wifi or bluetooth devices. Thought is will not connect via bluetooth to my cell. They pair just fine, but will not actually connect. So tranfering files has been a bit tricky, easiest way I found, was to us my PC as a relay.
This and a couple other point stoped be from raiting this 5 stars. It's a brick, the tablet weighs a little over a pound and a half. With the keyboard/folio case attached (the keyboard is build into the folio case), it weighs over four pounds.
The cameras pretty much suck, the forward facing camera is 8MP, but there are ZERO features, no flash, no zoom, nothing. It is a generic click and hope for the best kind camera. But then with the weight, its not somthing you want to take a lot of pictures with. Lastly the touch pad on the keyboard, picks up my thumbs hovering over the space bar, as I touch type, so I have to fold the flap over it so stop from accidently clicking out of text areas, or on random links. If you hen peck, this will not be a problems for you. Also the table has a full sized USB port, so an external keyboard and or mouse can be connected to it. Have not tried a wireless keyboard or mouse, bu th manual warns some of these may not work.
I like the screen size, but it has the same aspect ration as a cell phone or TV 16:9, instead of the typical 16:10 or 4:3 of most tables. So the screen is longer and narrower, than typical tablets. Personally I like this, it means movies I watch it are in turn full screen, and does not have blank space around the video screen, like you would get on other tables.
