Like New Works Great on Xfinity
I had a SB6121 that performed flawlessly for me for years. When my internet provider upped my service to 200 Mbps, the SB6121 throttled it to less than 90 Mbps. So I ordeded the SB6183 Refurbished which is good for over 300 MBps. I choose the refurbished unit just to see if it would help and at this price what do i have to lose :-). I used the Xfinity app to activate the modem, i just entered the MAC address off the bottom of the modem and within minutes i was back up and running. I then ran a few Speed tests and now average about 230 Mbps Great buy, get it if you can ! ! !
