Blind Spot is the third book in the Chesapeake Valor series by Dani Pettrey. Although it can be read as a stand alone novel, I would definitely recommend reading Cold Shot and Still Life first. This is because one of the things I have come to expect and appreciate from a Dani Pettrey novel are her interwoven characters with complex relationships. If you start with Blind Spot, you'll miss out on some of the characters histories.
When you start Blind Spot, make sure you have some time to read because it is an action-packed ride from beginning to end. What keeps the reader intrigued is the fact that there are two plots going on throughout the story that involve solving a murder and trying to stop a terrorist plot. Declan, an FBI agent, and Tanner, a crisis counselor, are in the race of their lives trying to squelch this terrorist plot. As you would expect from any great romantic suspense novel, the reader stays on the edge of her seat turning the pages with motorcycle chases and bullets flying while also enjoying just the right amount of romance and the reader gets to see the relationship developing between Declan and Tanner.
Blind Spot ends with quite a cliffhanger! Book 4 can't come quickly enough!
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
