The sum qf any number of vectors is found by joining the beginning point of the second vector to the end point of the first, the beginning point of the third to the end point of the second. And so on; the vector from the beginning point of the first vector to the end point of the last is the sum required.

The sum and difference of two vectors are the diagonals of the parallelogram whose adjacent sides are the given vectors.
