Good book for select audience

The quality of the paperback book is fine. This book is essential reading for UFO and folklore enthusiasts, but I wouldn't recommend it for the uninitiated or theose with only a passing interest. You really have to concentrate when you're reading because of all the comparisons (across centuries and milllenia) of accounts from other authors and storytellers he cross references frequently throughout. It's interesting to see the commonalities between ufo/alien encounters of modern times compared with the folklore of encounters with strange creatures (sprites, leprechauns, and other "wee folk") of antiquity.
