Ceremony and Devotion

This release by Ghost is perhaps the best representation of what they were, and are about musically. Although not the best, cleanest live recordings of Ghost I have heard, the song selection is well thought out and is a celebration of the spirit of Ghost when experienced live. Tobias Forge, founder and lead singer, could have a second career as a comedian if he wished......he definitely does not take this brand of music seriously, except to make it as entertaining as possible. It is not death metal, it is not devil worship, it is simply some of the best rock entertainment anywhere on earth today. You will find songs here that span their career from 2010 up through 2017 when they were promoting their third album, "Meliora", and kicks off with monster rocker "Square Hammer". Grammy-winning tune "Cirice" (best metal performance, 2016) is also here as well. If you had never heard Ghost, this would be the place to start!
