Mainstays Palmerton Landing Bar Height Patio Dining Set

This is a beautiful set of patio furniture, it deserves 5 stars. The packer of the furniture only gets 1 star. Let me explain, when they pack the unassembled furniture in the box, they protected everything but the stainless steel/smoked glass table. My first order that I received was damaged on a corner. Walmart.com sent a second set to me, it was also damaged upon arrival. The shipping team, seems to set the table on its side (and drop it enough to damage one of the cornersl). The ones responsible for packing this beautiful furniture should figure out a way to protect all 4 corners from any kind of damage. The furniture set is beautiful, Walmart.com was very understanding and helpful, while the packing, shipping and handling group need a new system for protecting the furniture. The 2 pictures represent the 2 different tables, each with damaged corners.

The set itself is beautiful. We had issues with building. The holes in the bar did not line up correctly. We had to re-drill in order to assemble. A few of the screws broke while tightening. Don't over tighten. Once the whole bar was assembled we saw that the top metal corner was damaged and rusted and there was a scratch on the glass. I was unable to get a replacement piece from the manufacturer, nor was I able to get a replacement bar because I was told its Out of stock. Walmart did offer to come pick up fully assembled for a full refund. I decided to keep the bar and they gave me a discount because of the damage. The bar is really pretty and functional. Love the foot rest on the front of the bar. All in all - if it wasn't for the damage and the screws that did not line up, it would have been a 5 star rating. I had to take 2 stars away for those 2 issues.
