Unlike the reviewer on YouTube, I hear no hum from this system at all. It is dead quiet. Until you turn it up. Wonderful soundstaging and separation. Bass is strong and accurate. Nice tall rubber feet on subwoofer serve to isolate the sound. Nice high tones, mids are slightly lacking but acceptable. Overall distortion is very low. I love the weight of the sub. Heavier than I thought it would be. Probably a nice big magnet in there. Solid wooden enclosure with right-side port provide a premium sound quality for this price point. After sampling some hi-rez music and the movies Dracula Untold and The Wolfman, I must say I'm impressed. I have the treble all the way up and the bass on 28. This system would be great for gaming as described in the information provided on Walmart.com. It has been my experience that gaming headphones are always really good. Now I know that the same goes for gaming 2.1 speaker systems. I looked at a lot of 2.1 Bluetooth speaker systems before I bought this one. What a great feeling to know you made the best choice. Sade never sounded smoother.

Amazing sound for an inexpensive 2.1 system!

I really didn't expect too much from this small system, but I wanted a 2.1 sound system in my garage so I can listen to music while working. I have a small radio in there, but the radio is tinny-sounding and has no real bass. I was blown away by this Acoustic Audio sound system once I hooked it all up! The satellite speakers are on the top shelf about 9 feet apart. The main unit (subwoofer) is in the middle of the next shelf down. WOW! The subwoofer bass is amazing! I had to turn the bass down a bit as I was afraid stuff would vibrate off the shelves! The satellite speakers, though small, really put out the mid-range and treble perfectly. The remote controller handles all the settings and tone control. There are separate buttons for bass up and bass down, and separate buttons for treble up and treble down. I can tune the system to the exact sound I want and I am very pleased with this system. It sounds so much better in my garage now when the music is playing. It even has an optical (Toslink) input and came with the optical cable. I think (know) it would be a great system for stereo TV, as most of the new TVs have only an optical sound output. I had a similar 2.1 system for my TV for 13 years. (I recently upgraded to a Class AB amplifier with a stand-alone subwoofer and B%26W speakers.) Hopefully, this Acoustic Audio 2.1 system will last a long time in my garage.
