Strands alternate in forming the interior and exterior of the rope, so it holds its shape under pressure and load. Unlike twisted or diamond braid ropes, it won't unravel when cut with knife or scissors, making it perfect for applications where heat sealing ends may not be possible. Solid braid is also less likely to kink or hockle. Please note that solid braid is not a spliceable construction.
