Every item we offer has been carefully selected for its durability and performance in harsh marine conditions. This line is lightweight and floatable, with a tough hollow braid construction. Polypropylene is a synthetic valued for its exceptionally light weight and resistance to rot, mildew, fuel, oil, chemicals and saltwater. This floatable rope should be replaced yearly if it's used in an application with high UV exposure, as it is less resistant to UV damage than other synthetics. Hollow braid rope is formed with a circular braid pattern where half the strands go clockwise and half go counter-clockwise. The strands interlock leaving a void in the center.
