The sliding motion when pulling out or pushing in is very smooth and quiet. This keeps anyone that visits from seeing trash cans sitting around and also keeps the dogs from trying to pilfer in it. We use one trash can for basic stuff and the other for aluminum cans. Anyone would be glad to have this to store the trash away.
