Well, the picture with this doesn't show the broom cake tester. The tester is smaller than I expected. It really looks like a tiny, round whisk broom. It does the job intended without making a big hole, and is plenty long for baked goods that rise a lot. It is better than using a toothpick or a knife.

I love the cake tester.

I love the cake tester. I used to have one that I received many years ago from my grandmother. It finally came apart after removing too many straws. I have been looking for a replacement for years and this is the first time that I finally found one. It is well made and it will last me for years. Thank you very much for it.
