Solid saw

What I like: the saw is powerful, smooth and quiet. Cuts beautifully and being a worm drive saw it is easy to guide. Negative: the saw is not cheap and batteries will cost you a chunk too. It does not accept regular 20 volt batteries just the 60 volt. While it is a solid tool with professional feel - it is heavy.

Dewalt worm drive

I bought my Dewalt worm drive 9 months ago, I use it everyday and it still runs like a champ. So far every cordless Dewalt tool I've bought has gone over and beyond.

Amazing replacement for corded circular saws.

I've owned this saw for 2 years now. I initially bought with the hope that I could replace my Skil Mag 77 saw with some concrete cuts that would be much, much easier to do without a cord... and I was right. This saw is amazing, and has easily cut anything I've thrown its way. I'll not be going back to corded. It cuts accurately, the motor control swiftly and accurately maintains blade speed, and as long as the battery is healthy it seems to Just. Keep. Cutting. The thumb break blade depth adjust does occasionally act up by being hard to change the depth, but, other than that it holds square, doesn't slip, and the worm-drive-style handle is awesome for comfort and easy control of the saw for cuts long and short. I VASTLY prefer a blade on the left side of the saw.
