From Traxxas X-Maxx, to Losi 5ive-T, these Wheels/Tires have become the gold standard by which all other wheels & tires are measured. The impulse beadlocks provide the anchor needed when running these behemoth-sized RCs at insane speeds (think 100mph off-road) and do not come apart despite the freakishly-high rotational mass. Sure, they weigh more than just about any stock wheel/tire out there but that is because there are #40 M3 x 20mm screws per wheel. So, with 4 Wheels, we are talking #160 M3 x 20mm screws! As far as the tires themselves, the rubber is robust and durable. Whether running them off-road on on the parking lot pavement, these tires last a very long time and if you succeed in wearing these tires down, replacing a pair of these tires (w/ foam inserts) is half the price of a pair of pre-assembled wheels/tires. While the Masher-X and Badlands MX57 are great in their own rights, the MX43 will continue to remain the best available BECAUSE of those hearty beadlocks! So, I recommend that every 1/6 & 1/5 Scale RC truck owner should have at LEAST one set of these MX43 Badlands as an option. It will really help with handling under higher speeds, on-road and off-road. ****** In some scenarios & builds, it will be necessary to beef up the servo power, so just keep that in mind if you are still running a stock servo powered by ESC/Receiver Power.
