These curtains are a beautiful shade of blue (I ordered the teal). I'm very happy that they are so close in color as depicted on the ad. They match my area rugs perfectly! They're not super thick but they are thermal and very heavy. They do a great job blocking out the sunlight, almost 100% (the gromet style tends to allow light in at the top if not up high enough from the window frame). They also help to keep the hot or cold air out. I looked everywhere for multifunctional, textured blackout curtains, most are satin nowadays and I'm definitely not a fan. These are exactly what I was looking for and add a great pop of color to our living space!
