3M is a great product
I'm going to say that this is probably a great mask for painting but I needed an N95 for medical purposes and wasn't sure how thick this mask was so I bought it thinking “Oh it has a Cool Flow Valve” I now know what's needed, I also know that 3M is a great product.

No more Migraine

Works great!
I bought this to block a strong hotel air freshener at work. It was an extremely strong rose floral scent, pumped into the hotel lobby 24/7. Most large hotel chains use strong scents 24/7 as part of a marketing campaign. Strong floral scents trigger my Migraines. I had to walk through the lobby, to get to and from our store. This mask blocked the Rose odor, and kept me from getting a Migraine!

protects from frarances
I am extremely sensitive to fragrances and this mask lasts longer than most, I used it for a two hour flight recently and it was still keeping fragrances out of my airway at the end of the flight. I carry several in case they stop screening fragrances as many other masks do, but so far have not had a problem. Not sure why my name appears as disappointed as I am VERY pleased with these masks.
