I bought this for my 16 year old granddaughter. She is into the Beatles and Frank Sinatra. I was amazed when she told me. I bought her an LP remastered Beatles album and she loved it. The five stars was her rating. The system has bass, tone and treble adjustments. We tried an LP record and a CD and it worked very well. Her comment: “It is retro but very modern”

Good deal for a 1st system
This set is old school with gauges that flip back & forth with the music. (Really cool in our opinion.) It is really a nice set. Our teenage son is loving listening to all our old vinyl albums on it. The CD player works great and I believe if I remember correctly it will rotate up to 3 CD's at a time. Stereo sounds great and radio gets great reception. Only thing is that the speakers are 25 watt speakers x 2. So not 50 watts each like the ad makes you think. But the 25 watts each are plenty for our 16 year old. He loves this system and we love that it is loud enough he is happy but not to damage his ears or ours for that matter. He has a typical boombox when he was younger and this is a huge upgrade. No need for another upgrade for some time. Really a good deal price wise.
