Wow - Yes! IT WORKS!!

As usual, the unit works as I had hoped. Longevity pf operation remains to be seen. Thanks once again for Exceeding my rather lofty expectations. I have a low end (Asus C423N) Chromebook and wanted to connect it to big monitor. Could not find any info on is the USBC connectors supported any video output. I took a chance and was delighted when my cheap but large used Dell monitor that I bought at goodwill sprung to life!

Pleasantly Surprised

I had purchased a more expensive USB-C Travel Dock from another vendor 7 months ago. It worked as advertised and as expected but it was missing two inputs which had proved to be important; VGA and Ethernet. Not every location I travel to has a projector (etc.) with an HDMI input. These times required a VGA input and I was out of luck with the previous dock. I also prefer using a wired network connection where possible. Having this all in one dock has been my solution. I am also very appreciative of the labeling on the top of the dock. It clearly shows you which USB-C input is for data, power, which USB-A input supports USB 3.0 and which also supports USB Battery Charging Revision 1.2. Nice work Monoprice!

good but undocumented

So far everything works. However, the documentation on the different ports consists ONLY of the tiny, light gray icons. There is no explanation of what the differences among the ports might be. They could be every different ? like lacking data but providing more power, or providing less power, or something else. The ports could be identical with different labels. They could at least provide a small paper insert or a web site.
