Great for the price

Picked this up for a Sako 243. Was looking for something in the 1-10 mag for it however, I saw this on flash sale and said "why not". The quality of the body and the glass clarity were better than what I imagined. This is the first scope that I have had where the reticle was illuminated. I was skeptical but, after putting holes in paper at 200yd I decided it was a nice feature to have. It adds a nice amount of contrast to keep shots on target. Overall, pretty solid value for the price. Will need to put more rounds downrange and see how it holds up.

Great scope. Didn't come with lens covers or a battery.

This is my third Athlon scope. Like the others it's high quality with good glass. The illumination is nice and precise and instead of having to go through the different settings to find off, there is an off switch between brightness setting. The raised turrets are nice and easy to adjust . My only complaint is that the scope didn't come with lens covers or a battery. I'm pretty sure the last two I purchased came with both of those items so I'm not sure if it's a quality issue and they forgot, or if they just don't include them any more. Either way I'd have appreciated it if they included both of the items as I'm pretty sure other brands like vortex do.
