Authentic Knitting Board Afghan Knitting Loom

I am very happy with the Afghan loom. I have had it about a week. I have found that you can't use large yarn with this loom. It is a very tight weave because the pegs are close together. I tried to use 2 strands of 4 worsted weight yarn. I had to rip it out because it was so tight it was more like a rug instead of an Afghan. I bought size 5 weight yarn at that time. It is still quite tightly weaved but it is not like a rug. It's just a very tightly weaved afghan. It is turning out beautiful The next one I do I will use only one strand of number 4 worsted weight. I think it will do a lot better. I just thought I would throw this in where others buying this loom would know that the larger weight yarn would make a very heavy tightly weaved afghan.
