Growing up, my Grandma and then my Mom would make Pecan tarts, mostly for holidays (may I suggest you pick up a tray or two to fill out your cookie platters). I love theirs, but these are as close as can be to Mom's. Delicate, flaky crust with a delicious pecan gooey filling. These were gone for awhile from Wal-Mart and thankfully they were brought back! I hope they will be here to stay!! Thank you Wal-Mart!

As long as you get them fresh these are not bad.I but them when I am too lazy to make my own.The price is a bit too high but saves me time and these are a close runner up to my own fresh baked ones.Sometimes they are not fresh enough for me but I deal with that.To me these do need more gooey filling inside.Crust is flakey but they sure do fill a craving and this is the only brand I find of them unless local bakeries have them.I will buy now and then to fill a craving unless the price rises as they are never on sale !
