I do not usually wear trunk type underwear when its hot but I got these last week and tried them out. The cottony material is very soft and lightweight but seems like a tight high quality weave. Inner waist band has some sort of soft or brushed finish that makes the waist very comfortable. Stays put but it also seems to move a bit when it needs to if you twist and turn....... If that makes sense. No fly front which I like, reduces material and seams in the front. These are nice trunks and light enough to wear any time of the year, any temperature. If I had a complaint, black and grey are boring, maybe more colors? Seem to run a bit on the large size? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
