Superb Lens!

I love this lens! I bought it to complete (I think) my Fujifilm X-T2 travel kit. It is extremely sharp and nails the autofocus. Build quality is superb, made of a very rugged material (mostly metal) but isn't too heavy (540 grams). The design is excellent, no external switches to leak or break. This is a Weather Resistant (WR) lens when a front filter is used which is a major plus. The internal focus feature keeps the camera very stable in one's hand when shooting and is quite unobtrusive. It is almost equal to the Canon L series quality. The lens balances very well on the X-T2 body and carries very well on a neck strap, though I prefer a sling like the OP/TECH. I wish it had Image Stabilization but shooting at 1/125th or a second eliminates nearly instances of blur due to camera shake. Shooting at 1/200th or higher eliminates all instances of blur due to camera shake. As the lens aperture is F2.0 it is fast enough that the higher shutter speed poses very few limitations on shooting. There is a nearly inaudible clunk when the camera is powered on and off or when reviewing pictures while shooting. This is due to the camera dropping power to the quad-linear autofocus system. This completely normal so not a problem unless one doesn't know what's causing it. I highly recommend this lens! #sweepstakes
