Great glove for pitching, but not for infield

Perfect size (11-3/4”) and 2-piece solid web (to help hide the ball) make this a popular choice for pitchers. Although this is positioned as Pitcher/infield, I would not recommend it for infield play. I've found the 2-piece solid web just does not have as much flexibility as the Pro-I web, which is most popular with infielders. I was a little skeptical about the Hyper Shell back but I went with it because I really wanted an all-black glove for pitching and this was the only Rawlings all-black, 11.34”, 2-piece solid web HoH I could find. I've found it performs well and does cut down on the weight of the glove. So overall I am happy with this glove. Time will tell on the Hyper Shell's long-term performance, but for now it's good to go.
