This bookcase is sturdy and fairly easy to put together. It is all wood construction - no particle board. We tried two different bookshelves that were a little less, but the quality was sub-par. After the that , we "tried" this one...wow what a difference. You really can't go wrong buying this bookcase for the money. I am buying another for my man cave for displaying sports memorabilia. This is a good get!

Great wooden bookcase , easy to assemble in roughly 1 hour for 1 person. Only challenge is lining up all the screw holes, and getting the back wooden board in the track. Overall is a good quality and beautiful wood bookcase.

Does not come assembled!
THIS DID NOT COME FULLY, OR EVEN PARTIALLY, ASSEMBLED! Definitely need two people for putting it together and we didn't nail the back on as instructions say to. It fits in the grooves. Priced too high in my opinion.
