Merkury Innovations Wired Smart Video Doorbell 1080p Camera, Requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

Good quality video. Some minor issues with playback of the video. Overall a great deal for the price. Gives me peace of mind while I'm not home.

I bought this about 2 months ago and was concerned because of some of the reviews. I am no longer concerned. Many said they was having connection problems. Never had one. First if you have an existing doorbell it is easy to install. I did however need to move mine up to eye level to get a better view of the people at the door. It took maybe 5 minutes to install and setup. One thing was the doorbell its self had to have the little chime thingy installed or the bell was always making a slight noise. I already had the app on my phone from the light bulbs and the cheap $19 wifi cameras which also work great. Hit the bell and my phone gets a notification. If I want to watch what is happening out front it is great. The microphone is impressive maybe too impressive because I can hear people talking in the neighbors house many times and the kids playing 4 or 5 houses down form me. I cannot even hardly hear them when I am on m porch. The only down side I can complain about it the night vision is not the best. It shows great for someone that is 6' away but any further and it is dark. But that is the reason for a light I guess. And no monthly fee either, which is way better then some of the alternatives. And I will also add the app works with at least 2 phones because my wife uses it also.
