Any of the Shur-line products need to be amended. First of all, if you don't have any painters tape for your project, you're already messin' up. Once the pad is applied and secure. I can literally knock out a 12x12' room with one of these type brushes and use less than half a gallon of good paint. These are unrivaled applicators when compared to brushes or rollers, especially on heavily textured surfaces. Anyway, believe the novice or believe the pro with over 37 years of experience. Your choice. Also, avoid the knockoffs, they have warped pads, and their fibers are very scant. Shur-line is what you want.
