Missing pieces in ever box

Every single box is missing a metal rod thing that it need to combine the boxes. So I'm un able to finish building it. And there's is no number anywhere in the instructions nor box it came in to even get extra parts... in all 16 boxes I got three connections rods when there's suppose to be four.

This was very time consuming to put together and I don't like the process of joining the cubes together.
