These are so nice in person. Rugged, durable, yet stylish and protective of stubbing toes. Some daycares and summer camps frown upon open-toed sandals that can cause trips and falls, so these provide cool comfort to your young one's feet and mitigate some of those hazards mentioned. I like that the soles are not flimsy and the foot bed is contoured for support. Would not hesitate in buying them again for my grandson.
