It is much easier than trying to piece together a bunch of sizes separately at the local hardware store! They fit in a machined groove in a shaft to secure items. The spring metal clip with three prongs gives the rings their "E" shape. The E-clips fit in a groove on the metal shaft assembly. The three internal prongs on each clip touch the bottom of the groove providing the locking feature. This package includes (300) E-clips - 1/16”, 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4", 3/8”, 1/2", 5/8”, 3/4", and 7/8” packed inside a storage case for your convenience.
