Love the fit, hate the smell of rubber or chemical

I have had numerous shoes by Jambu and they fit me like a glove. This pair is no exception except they smell, and smell badly like rubber/tire/chemicals??? I have never had this issue before but always purchased mine from Boston Store but they are no longer in business so I ordered through Walmart. I have asthma and cannot take the smell and am so disappointed because I love the style, they are lightweight, and they fit like a glove. I will be returning these with a sad heart. Nothing it seems is made like it used to be.

This is not the shoe shown in the website picture. The shoe did not have the memory foam insole. I will be returning.
