This is very sturdy. It comes with several pole pieces so you can make the shovel handle longer or the rake piece - your preference. Plus it has a clip to attach the rake to the shovel. I leave it hidden outside so the rain will wash it. So far it's holding up beautifully. I highly recommend this.
