I installed this Shimano M370 Altus rear derailleur on my favorite bicycle a vintage 1987 Schwinn touring bike. Shimano makes fine components, the Altus gave great shifts right out of the box. I have perhaps 300 miles on the unit at this time. Always use a new cable when changing a derailleur makes for crisp shifting. dt
