I have hair like hay. Horses chase me when they're hungry. It's awful. I also keep it long, so I look like a shrub, occasionally. This stuff, for me, is the only thing that keeps me from looking like I've been electrocuted. I get less breakage, which is common when your hair is thick and wiry enough to break the bristles on your brush. I don't get that greasy feeling like I do with Frizz-Ease, which I still use occasionally, but now only in tiny amounts. It's pricey. But it works.
