This is a very average coffeemaker. I thought I would give it a try after my Mr. Coffee broke after only 15 months of use. I love my Black and Decker toaster oven so why not give it a try? It works perfectly but the carafe is a disappointment The cup markings on the side of the carafe are thin and small so kind of a pain to see easily. The pot handle worried me because it did not appear as well made or as well secured to the pot like my old pot had. Do I decided to use my old Mr. Coffee carafe instead which fits perfectly. The water reservoir in the coffee maker has somewhat limited space for pouring in the water. And I do miss the 4 hour hold that I used to have with Mr. Coffee. Unless this thing lasts 10 years I probably won't purchase this brand again
