You should be pleased
I gave a 5 star - for a few reasons. 1. The base of the chair is a solid steel plate (not a sand filled pedestal that is common) I tested the chair on tile, wood and carpet flooring and it remained very stable for a large adult.. 2. The chair section with the walnut veneer is very durable with the padding attached - in one system. 3. Overall look is impressive. 230 # and the hydraulic shock holds up very well ( no collapse). My single negative observation is the foot-rests are too pointed on the ends - in my opinion.

I think the bar stools are of sound quality and I like the free shipping but beware if you don't like the bar stools as that was my experience. They did not fit well in my home and had to return them. Unfortunately, due to returning them I had to pay for shipping and a restocking fee that cost me close to $400.00. So I learned to read the fine print and hope to never make that mistake again. If I had known of the restocking fee and the shipping charge to return I wouldn't of purchased the chairs. Lesson well learned.

Not comfortable and sturdy
This chair is not so comfortable. It has small backrest. Leg rest is sharp. Also, pole connecting bottom didn't look very strong to me.
