Track Time

I have Nitto 555 Extremes on my 1994 Thunderbird Super Coupe. I drive it in H.P.D.E.'s at Tracks here in the Midwest. I am impressed with the grip they have and how well they allow me to push the limits of the car. I am clearly a believer in the Nitto brand, I had been a Goodyear/BFG fan..that has changed. Thanks

Perfect Daily Driver Tire

I have 275/40/17 in front and 315/35/17 out back. I had the same size in the Sumitomo HTRZ and these NITTO's are better by leaps and bounds. After about 500 miles, they are well broken in and grip the road extremely well. They have not had any issues on wet pavement, but I do not drive recklessly in those conditions. Others may experience loss of traction if they do not drive appropriately. From a dig, they surpass the Sumitomo's. I have just under 300 hp at the wheels and I can spin them, but that is to be expected with any street radial. I drive most aggressively in corners and these tires keep me well planted. The tire sizes I have still have a bit of sidewall so I would imagine a lower profile tire will corner better. I daily drive these tires and, so far, am impressed with them. I have had the pleasure of driving with the Motivo's and they are a good daily driver as well; just not as much grip as the NT555. All in all, I am very satisfied with the NT555 and intend to continue to use them as my choice of tire for my Mustang.

2012 Ford Mustang GT

I purchased the NT555 235/50/18 for the front of my 2012 Ford Mustang GT (manual trans, daily driven) to compliment the NT555R 305/45/18 rear Drag Radials. They look good, drive great and match beautifully! !00% satisfied. They replaced the factory Pirelli 235/50/18 tires.
