I bought this on a whim while I was looking for something else because it was on sale. The offset weight distribution makes this a fun and challenging addition to a home gym. I'm not sure this is beginner-friendly, but if you have some strength training experience, it's a way to add novelty to your routine. It's also a good conversational piece. The one that I received was very well packed in a double-walled box and encased in styrofoam, so it arrived in pristine condition. The powder coating is easy to grip with sweaty hands and the handle is nice to hold, with no sharp burrs or seams.
