I moved recently and took the opportunity to get rid of my old office chair. The gas piston was dead and it was all the way down and listing to port. They have all wound up that way sooner or later, usually sooner. While settling in I set up shop at the dining room table and after working there it dawned on me why not get a fixed chair. I saw this one and went for and boy am I ever glad I did. I'm a big guy - 6' 4" and 375#. I work from home and am real tough on chairs. This one is well padded, rock solid and built like proverbial brick out house. It is totally stable and it actually feels big on me, if such a thing can be said about chairs. It was simple to put together; 4 pieces of hardware and 8 bolts. Took 20 minutes from the start of unpacking until it was at my desk. My only advice on assembling is start each bolt on the back piece separately so you know how they go in. Totally comfortable and I am looking forward to long service from this chair.
