Very well built chainfall

I bought this chainfall a few weeks back and put it right to work setting some machinery in place. I was surprised to find the chainfall was made in Japan, a welcome change from the usual Chinese made similar chainfalls. It came with full documentation as to inspections and load tests and load test certification. I have used a lot of rigging over the past 50 + years, so am no stranger to chainfalls. This little chainfall is several notches above the usual Chinese- made chainfalls. It is light in weight, and I can hang it with one hand. The design and workmanship are evident when I felt how the chains worked and felt the fit and finish of the parts. Great little chainfall, and I recommend it highly.
