This product is everything I wanted. It's waterproof (we have a 2 yr old that still sleeps with us), fits my 14" mattress, it's comfortable, doesn't have that plastic smell taking over my bed, and doesn't have the wrinkley plastic noise you would assume it to have being waterproof. My husband and I purchased a waterproof matress pad for $40 from Sears. It was the worst investment. It ripped the instant we put it on, and it smelled horrible even after a wash cycle and it made a horrible noise when there was any movement in the bed. This pad is anything but that. We LOVE IT!! Nothing about it is cheap and the price is great. Great quality, cloth materials, durable. We haven't had to wash ours yet, so I'm not sure how that's going to go. I purchased one for my 2yr olds twin bed as well, hoping we can get him in there asap and save the mattress with potty trainning!
