Product details
Limit wound deterioration with the help of Cardinal Health Vaseline petrolatum gauze. Made from soft cotton material, this gauze is gentle on the skin. Its loosely knit fibers allow your wound to breathe and stay cool. Embedded with petrolatum, the rectangular gauze dressing improves moisture retention to slow down drying. It has a limited pore size that ensures your secondary dressing stays free from wound ointments or creams. The white Vaseline petrolatum gauze strip does not contain adhesive for trauma-free removal. The petroleum jelly coat creates a hydrophilic contact layer that facilitates the removal of a secondary dressing without injury to the granulation bed. Measuring 3 inches W x 36 inches L, the dressing easily conforms to contoured body parts such as the knee. Its fine mesh gauze material is easy to cut for quick resizing. The petroleum gauze dressing is sterile, allowing for aseptic wound dressing. It produces zero lint to avoid adhesion formation and promote speedy healing.
