I bought these shoes from a friend about 3 months ago. They were "brand new ", still in box. I thought nothing of them at the time, and threw them in my closet. About a month ago my regular work shoes were filthy and wet, from working the day before. Threw them in the wash, went to sleep, next morning, I woke to wet shoes forgetting to take them out to dry. Then I remembered these shoes were in my closet, I took them out realizing they were Women's 9.5W, with a pink toe, I was hesitant I am a male that wears a size 8....So,ltimately I had no choice so I put them on. At first they felt tight, tried to "slip" them on. They were untied, but realizing the tounge was sewn all the way up, they must be water proof/ resistant. Also the heel felt a little soft, but was pleased to find a soft heel cup and upper with a pull tab to assist in getting them on. First impression was they were a little stiff and my big toe rubbed the side of which I thought was the composite, after a few hours, I took a break and realized 1. My toe wasn't rubbing anything, any longer. 2. The material had stretched and relaxed to a soft, but not by any means thin, almost like a sock.feel.all around my foot including the insole. 3. Pink toe, women's size, or not they are, the best fitting, comftable, supportive, lightweight, non slip/composite work shoes I've ever owned. AND hearing they were waterproof, you gotta make me a believer, i thought wayer resistant at the very best,I stepped in water to the top of my instep, and thought any second here comes the discomfort of wet feet for the rest of the day. To my pleasant suprise......not a drop leaked in and after repeated wettings, months later still water PROOF. Reebok, has made me a believer, so in my 100% honest opinion, they are by far the best slip resistant, composite toe, and WaterProof athletic work safety shoes I've ever owned. Take my word worth every penny.
