Fairly unique appearance, but highly functional.
Fits my hand well - I love the feel of the wood laminate. Wasn't sure exactly what it was going to be - seems to be like micarta, but with wood veneer in place of linen or other cloth. If you work in the wet, could get a little slick, but easily fixed by adding grooves if needed.
Hard to tell from all the photos I've seen. The handles look like they are attached with rivets. But the back side actually has the driver holes to remove them (maybe small torx?).
Only problem I see is with the sheath. Described as fine leather. It is black and looks very nice, holding the knife securely. But it is fairly thin and stiff. So when I sat back on it, compressing the belt loop, it showed some surface cracks in the top of the loop. Seems to be just cosmetic, and easily hidden with some black shoe polish.
