Can this be hanged on vaulted ceiling?

I am yet to use this product so the rating may not be right. We have vaulted ceiling. We are apprehensive about hanging it as our contractor says only one person can sit on it and the ceiling may not bear the weight more than one person. Has anyone encountered this problem. Do you have any suggestions on hanging this swing on a vaulted ceiling? We want atleast 3 adults to sit on it once hung. Please advise.
