Appears to be of good quality, well packaged, instructions are not the greatest but hey, that is what youtube is for should one get lost. It was easy to figure everything out with the included instructions. I've only run it one time and it distilled one gallon in four hours eleven minutes, only eleven minutes longer than advertised. I plan to run several distillations as required to clean out anything from the manufacturing process and discard that water. The fan does make some noise, but our kitchen is far from where we generally spend time so its not a bother. Its more of a white background noise. The unit does inject some heat into the room when running...not a problem in winter, but may cause your AC to run just a tad more in summer. Since I was skeptical of this foreign made devices quality I paid a little bit more than other models available elsewhere for the 90 day return window and the ease of in store returns. Similar models vary in price from $69 to way over $300. $99 was a good value for what we received. The unit does cut itself off at the end of the distillation run but I may add a timer and cut it off a bit early allowing a small amount of water to remain in the unit to make it easier to clean as some on YouTube have recommended. I also plan to not fill to the full line as the water warms and will expand just enough when condensed in the pot to overflow it a tiny bit. The unit does take up a lot of counter space in our small kitchen, so make sure you have room to add this to your kitchen.

Avoid Amazon - This ones better and cheaper

I originally ordered a distiller on Amazon and after 2 weeks of waiting was informed that they were sold out. then I found this item here on WalMart.com and it ended up being a better product for a lower price and it was delivered to me within 3 days or placing the order. I don't know much about distillers so won't compare it to others, but it works great and is relatively quiet. Just emits a low hum no louder than a personal fan someone would have at their work desk. I am very happy with the item and don't see how paying more money could have offered a better product. This works great. 4 hours and you have a fresh gallon of water waiting for you. All you have to do is fill it to the line and push the green button.j I would offer 5 stars if I had owned it a year and it was still working. Aside from not being able to attest to its durability, everything else is 100%.
